Woodrock Animal Rescue is a non-profit, pro-life animal shelter, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals. Situated in the Hennops River Valley near Pretoria, the organisation cares for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, donkeys, pigs, and chickens. Woodrock assists homeless, abused, neglected, injured, and unwanted animals, with a core ethos focused on education and sterilization to combat animal overpopulation and neglect.
Hope Haven Home
Established in 2025 and situated in Centurion, Hope Haven Home is a faith-based organization dedicated to the rescue and care of abandoned and abused babies. Operating under the conviction that every child deserves a family and a future, they provide a safe and loving environment with 24/7 support for the most vulnerable. In collaboration with social services, Hope Haven Home works to ensure the long-term placement and healing of each child. The organisation actively builds a compassionate community through its sponsorship and volunteer programs, all guided by a mission to serve, protect, and offer love and restoration.
Ditshego House of Laughter is a non-profit organisation founded in 2007 that serves as a place of hope for the vulnerable children and families of the Mooiplaas informal settlement near Centurion, South Africa. Ditshego, which means "laughter," now operates a preschool and after-care program, a medical clinic, a food gardening project, and a drop-in center, offering education, nutrition, and a safe environment. Through community-based programs and home visits, they provide holistic support, assisting with schoolwork, legal documents, and healthcare.
